For those with the Sony ZV-1, I got this from B&H Photo. "Sony Updates ZV-1 Firmware which permits using the ZV-1’s video and audio capabilities for live social media and video conferencing needs."

Here's the Sony link for the update. https://www.sony.com …5301983723518312A8EBC5EB5 (external link)

You have to keep the 12 for the sunstars

Been considering the 15...12 is soooooo wide sometimes.

Speaking of the loxia 21, I was digging through the fm marketplace and man that lens is a freaking steal in the used market given how well it performs. Oldie but goodie.

Hmmm...off to look...

A 16mm GM was rumored not long ago, might be worth waiting for that.

That’s why I’ll never sell my Loxias. They’re amazing, but are way too undervalued in the market to leverage into something different.

Small, sharp, beautiful sunstars, and has a certain micro contrast / rendering that complements landscape photography. I’ll never sell mine.

I’ll never sell mine either. Not the latest now so prices have fallen but still one of the greatest in my eyes

I think the Voigtlander 21 1.4 took some steam away from the Loxia 2.8. However they are both fantastic lenses.

A real bargain is the Voigtlander 21 3.5 and produces quite well.

Voightlander is coming out with a 35 2 APO

Very nice. Where is the first shot taken from? Is that Fannin with the bridge over it? Life saving area of Houston for me.

Thanks!

First shot was taken from the top of one of the garages in the Texas Medical center ....this is holcombe street....fannin is little bit out of the frame to the west side. Took this on a morning several years back when my wife was a bedside nurse in the medical center and I worked downtown. We used to carpool.....the commute was a bear but I do miss the little opportunities to shoot in the city.

After looking at it on Flickr I can now see what is going on I think. This coming from the direction of 288?

I wondered if it was Holcomb. I don't recall a bridge like that except on Fannin is the reason I wondered. Thanks for the response.

There are never ending construction projects in the medical center. I don't go out there often any more, but every time I do, some hospital has put up a new building or structure of some sort.

Read a more, it seems a nice small but it is 20mm f2.8 so should be. Build looks good. Sharp, nice rendering, micro-contrast, sharp edge to edge that is most of my fuji lenses but they are bigger and much more $$. I should check this lens out. Looks MF only, which for landscape is fine. Does focus stacking work in that scenario or not? I am still holding for Fuji to release TS and then see which system I keep.
