Agree. I used some wheeled stands outdoors. The wind picked up and they rolled away a bit. So keep that in mind. Sand bags...

Playing devils advocate I prefer C-stands for the simple fact that in my shooting style is there rarely level ground for for wheeled stands and C-stands can adjust easier to uneven terrain.
Still Mathews without a doubt though.
Just my thoughts and not meant to knock others usage scenario.

That's really nice lighting; it defines his muscles well. I might argue for a teeny bit of fill flash to bring up the shadow on his face, but obviously that's a personal artistic decision.

All I want is a 10-2000 f/0.5L with no distortion that weighs 100 grams, fits in my pocket, and costs $300. Is that too much to ask?

How'd you get the laces to fly?

Those were each taken in a separate shot then merged into final product.

I used a twist tie (like that comes on bread to keep bag shut) and made a hook and held the laces up while taking the photo.

A fairly simple outdoor shoot for the Cheerleading squad at a local high school. We met in a local park due to Covid restrictions and I photographed about 45 individual girls (plus buddy pics). Fortunately we hit a nice sunny day with no wind, which was one of my main concerns. A fun, easy, low-stress shoot, and a great way to celebrate all the work these high school athletes have put in to the season where they have been to competitions to cheer at.

I think there's several sneakerheads here on POTN... Hehehe... Personally, I've had over 400 Nike/Jordan's in my collection... It's under 100 now, though... Had to fund for camera gear!!! Hahahahaha...
