Need some help with remote connectivity. Maybe it is just me but I am having hard time to control my A7RIV with my Phone. All I want is take a shot with camera stuck on a tall tripod. I have Bluetooth remote but that only lets me take a shot, I can't see where the camera is pointed. So I connect my phone to camera, now I can see camera screen on my phone. But again I can't move the damn focus point and can't focus. What good is phone control app if one can't focus or move the focus point. My focus is removed from shutter and on AEL button. Camera in AF-S mode. So after putting camera in AF-C mode, atleast the BT can focus (why can't it focus in AF-S mode, I don't know). But I can't move focus point. Anyone has any ideas?

Imaging Edge can't control focus points...very lame for sure. I don't know if CamRanger 2 works or not.

I can't even focus. So what good is that app. Maybe I am missing something. I am looking at Came ranger 2. Hope it is not another one of the same shixx products. Got the BT to focus, but only in AF-C mode. AF-S mode, no focus.

Yeah I think Imaging Edge only works for focus in AFC. I really only use it for video when I have to be on camera.

6th birthday. No big parties anymore. Mostly because of COVID, but partly because of age. She took the princess dress off the first chance she got.

Visit to her grandma.... very quick stop to the Disney store when it opened, and a party with her siblings at home.

Mixture of the Sigma 35F2 and 65F2. The two lenses compliment each other well and fit neatly in my PD sling 5L.

Woke up early morning and drove an hr to the coast. There were two more photographers in front of me. I moved back and ocean side to get this. My Tamron 28-200mm, which to me seems quite versatile lens.

Good shot indeed! What do you think of the 28-200? Do you get lens creep with it? I just got it myself, did my first walkaround with it today. Still getting weirdly unaligned shots, but that is with all my E lenses it seems, and looks like more of a Sony thing than anything else.

Definitely isn't as great a shot, but this is local synagogue I like for its architectural simplicity, and the light lends itself to a decent shot...plus, since there is a lot less traffic than usual, I'm able to get it without a car in it and/or being run over. (Did sidestep to the liquor store next to which it is so very conveniently located ;) )
