I agree with the others, second image for me.

News reports socal will be getting more snow down to 1500 feet. That should make for some pretty pictures. :-)

Happy 2021 Valentines Day to my POTN Family... Courtesy of HB Pier @ 145 second exposure; several minutes after the sunset... The Orange/Red glow and fast moving clouds made it that much more special!!!

And happy belated Valentine's Day back 'atcha and the other POTN'ers!

Up here in Portland but at heart I still feel very much in So Cal - and it was been quite a weekend up here, with something between 6 and 12 inches of snow in the greater Portland area. Pretty much the whole town snowed-in, the buses and some of the few cars on the roads using chains etc.

Now it's warming up a bit - the high today is supposed to be a relatively balmy 44 degrees F! :-) - so the snow is melting and the trees are beginning to shed their loads of ice !

Visitor Center rock formations @ Valley of Fire in Overton, Nevada... Converted to b/w for overall feel and depth... Tripod mounted with wired shutter release helped make this super sharp... CPL filter added that extra punch to the scenery!!!
