I think it's where the subject is shot over several evenings etc so the total time captured and stacked.

You sir, are correct! :)

Beautiful! I've got the patience for Milky Way but not anything like that I don't think!

Oh I wish I had the sky for milky way. When milky way season hits, I will try to take a few shots in a dark site.

The A7siii is an incredible video camera. The dual ISO is great for low light. The codec options gives it super high usability factor.

From the looks of it, it just seems perfect for my needs, thanks!

Well I think I figured it out. I am switching from Zenfolio to Smugmug. For the transfer it appears that I can export original files to my Flickr then import my Flickr to Smugmug.

Crossing my fingers this works. Zenfolio sucks for support. When I emailed them on plan information they said "well your grandfathered in at a better rate and you will lose it if you leave so dont ask us for that when / if that happens" how is that for a response? I didn't even say i was going to a competitor just looking at downgrading since I dont sell on the site.

On other news here are some petroglyph pics

I am hoping it will mean less lens changes and therefore less sensor cleaning...reminds me...need sensor swabs...one thing is for sure...they are not smaller or lighter than Batis lenses!

Yeah although the Batis lenses are arguably larger than they need to be they are defo not heavy. The 24-70GM has a bit of heft to it from memory, 16-35 feels a good weight though. The 135 is heavy too.

Currently can’t stop thinking about the sigma 85 DH DN. think I’ll have to give it a try

So I finally got around to looking into the replacement recall on Sony Tough Cards...I had one today that would not read in the camera...same one that bugs out from time to time. It is one of the cards covered, 3 of my 6 are covered...so...sending them off.

I've got a whole closet full of empty camera and lens boxes. I'm up for a photo of empty boxes!

yeah I added those two to the crates in the basement after removing the lens...the soft case goes in the box, I never use them.

Lee, thought you might be interested in this. Would work for non-car photography too. Interesting way to use the LR filters and also made me realise there is more functionality to them that I wasnt even aware of. Could be used for landscapes too.

This tutorial is really helpful! I find it easier using the adjustment brush to do the same technique but I had no clue how to use this luminance tool prior to this.
