We've watched through the years how so many old "tenant houses" in our area have simply collapsed into a pile of overgrowth. The standard routine is that the houses were initially fine homes of a small farmer who eventually gets bigger and then rents it out...or their farm fails and they move on and someone else moves in. Rinse, repeat. Eventually the old structures without modern building features were relegated to grass hay storage. This was in the day of square bales. The stacked bales of hay were too heavy for the floor structures and many floors simply collapsed over a period of time...but, some, maybe out of pure stubborness, kept their floors. But then the day of round bales came along and the houses just sit there. People do claim some wood from some but most simply sit there slowly collapsing, dying a slow death. A sheet of tin blows off and it's like opening a cancer...the deterioration speeds up then. Back when I was 18 or 19 years old I wrote a poem about this very thing...about an old abandoned house. It's sad. Generations of lives that have gone like a wisp of wind...never to be known about...their stories ceased to be told. If the old houses could just talk... The poorest of the poor. Two that are feeble and ailing and the other one old and feeble itself but trying to watch over the other two... I can see that too ! Strangers are just friends that you've never met .... I'm Mike

No, from December 2017, the international terminal in the morning. Terminal E if I recall correctly. Empty until afternoon/evening when many of the flights depart.
