It's that time of the year, at least here in the Northern Hemisphere.....

I'll start. Our area got 12-15 inches yesterday, neighborhood kids enjoyed the first real snow of the year.

Thanks. Kinda of a trap, working for the newspaper. I consider myself Apolitical (as in they ALL suck). I was there for the kids, regardless of the background, but this kind of stuff is always perceived as intentional. For the first time in the ten years I've been at the paper I've had to defend the paper & myself. We covered both campaigns, however, we only had images of the local Trump/Pence visits that I attended myself. I later found myself defending the fact there were no photographs from any of the Biden/Harris trips. THE senior photographer at the paper (when I say "Senior", I mean he covered JFK's funeral!!!) even called to ask if I was a "Trumper"?

Attitudes changed quickly once I explained that we had requested credentials for every political stop, regardless of party, within a 40 mile radius over the final year of election & we were DENIED credentials every time I wanted to cover a Biden/Harris event.

I was there for the kids & really didn't notice the sign. I originally thought that spoke well of me as an unbiased reporter. I quickly realized that it spoke poorly of me as a photographer.

Nice capture!

Just the thread I wanted!... We only get a few days of it here in Victoria, BC, but this year we got hammered. This was last weekend.... snow already mostly gone now and raining at moment. This is my neighbor's wee one (parents pretty happy with pics!) and my little guy playing on the trail behind our house.
