Yeah, mine was mid day right before chasing my 3 year old after he climbed through a drainage hole in the wall and walked to the edge.

Clouds in the sky and clouds of blowing dust from the Wilcox dry lake, Wilcox, Arizona
The blowing dust cause a low visibility warning on I10, about 15 miles East of Wilcox.

You do have luck with the Aurora.

storms happen here frequently except for the last couple years now, we are in a solar minimum and the aurora has been tough to come by

last storm of any significance was 2018, happened to be the best storm i'd seen, went on all night long, only thing that stopped it was the sun rising
