I was fixing the water inlet at the pump yesterday and the Native Hens came down to check me out. Curious birds, one came and stood on the bank above me, about 6 feet away and literally clucked about staring intently.
No camera but fascinating to watch.
They then moved away and I was able to watch their antics.
They love climbing on things.

these were browsing near me then suddenly something alarmed one and it stood to attention gazing intently for short period then it summoned the rest of the clan and took off. They cant fly, but run like a racehorse
