Does anyone here have the 20 1.8

I find a lot of comparisons where they like it better than the 24 1.4 and I wonder if it is a replacement for my Lox 21

For me the colour is better here, however, if you edit the B&W more moody I could probably be swayed in that direction

Just bought an A9ii. Was planning on getting the mark 1 but got a deal on a mark 2 that was too good to pass up. The guy was selling it to fund an A1. Should get it by Tuesday. Looking forward to experiencing A9 AF!

you will love it..the a9 is good, the a9ii is better by all accounts. Sadly, I have not picked mine up much lately.

We went back to digital learning last week and for this next whole week, 2 kids in her class came down positive, which is way too close for us. She had to go get tested too, but returned negative. With my wife's health, this was the second close call. My boss and his whole family are knocked out right now with it too...

The a7III with the 24-70GM makes a nice pair. Especially for around the house stuff.

My replacement memory cards arrived today. That was really easy.

I also think I know where I am going for my next video.
Time to go back to Lindale Mill.

Digital learning can be tough for kids, but good that you guys are staying healthy.

Cool photo. The lighting from the blinds adds to the story.

Really impressed with the Sigma 65i. Compact. Sharp wide open with great bokeh.

Like some others in this thread I've been rather uninspired lately... A couple from a photo walk on Saturday morning - was at least glad to be out, and being in nature a bit was a relief to the drab greyness of my neighborhood.

Unfortunately, the snowfall was so thick and visibility so poor that I didn't manage to find the spot I wanted to shoot in - just don't know it very well. Just to make the walk a bit worse, I inadvertently lost my tripod bag, which stressed me out for a bit, though I ended up finding it again. Of course, I had to lose my mask as well :( Wasn't the greatest photo walk! Despite all, really liking the flexibility of the Tamron 28-200.

Today was a warm day with no clouds. Mostly doing location scouting. I had both Sony and Fuji cameras with me. Sony on this shot was like cleaning baby's dirty diaper. So many dust spots and this with me being careful. Fuji I just change whenever I want to and not even a single spot. Fuji is 3 yrs older than Sony and I haven't even used rocket blower once. no wonder they put those shutter doors on the A1. Fuji from what I read has some air gap between sensor and the glass on top of it so dust doesn't show in the shots. Smart move.

BTW - How easy is the MF on the loxia 21mm f2.8? I was trying MF with my 24mm TSE-II and found it hard. Maybe my eyes, not sure.

I am starting to plan a couple of trips back to the Smokies for the Spring, one solo and one with the family. I need some peace and quiet out in the woods again...along side the creeks and streams. I have 2 new hikes to go on.
