Not sure if your location NE USA refers to Nebraska or the northeast, but in either case I knew this had to be from far away. Canon EOS enthusiast

unclejohn Goldmember More info | Mar 07, 2021 07:37 | #884 My father's photo of a glider in Jyväskylä, Finland, probably taken in the springwinter of 1944 as the man half-showing on the left is wearing army uniform. They plowed snow off the lake ice to make a runway and towed the glider up into air with a truck and a long rope. I don't know anything. But I know other things.

Britannia XM496 doing a low fast pass before landing for the final time at MOD Kemble, Wiltshire. She is now being looked after by this lot. It's quite strange because she was one of the Brits at R.A.F. Lyneham when I was stationed there in the early 60s and was one of the aircraft I helped to keep in the air as an aircraft eleky. https://www.xm496.com/ My ambition for a good while is to grow old disgracefully. So far my wife tells me that I am doing really well!
