Hi, back to the forum
this photos was taken/editted by my wife... She is now learning this art and I think she is doing it well.... Im trying to support it in everything she need, courses, equipment, ideas, etc.
but she's to shy to share her work right now, because she thinks that she isnt too good to share the images... So I convinced her to post some of her work here, since she doesnt speak/read english (we're from Mexico) Im the one that will translate your comments and feedbacks
So we will be so gratefull to read your opinions

They look fine. Frankly, your wife could teach me. The second, in the long dress, is particularly striking. The third, I might have framed her so as not to cut her hands. The fourth one, with the chair, is cute, but it seems putting a round object around someone's head seems to be a current fad.

My two cents, only. I like the lighting in all of them.

All turned out really awesome. Numbers 2 and 4 would be my favorites if I was picking. When I saw the second shot I was like "WOW"!!!

I agree, those two are my favorites, though they all are very good.

el_ben2, tell you wife her work is superb. We are our worst critic. I am the same regarding my work. Your wife is very accomplished, and has a wonderful eye for photography.

Cropping on 2,3 & 4 are a bit strange (to me)... but that is some solid work.

Have her keep shooting and in a year she will AMAZE you.

Don't take any of this negatively, only for constructive feedback.

Picture 1 - do away w/ the fake snow flakes or make them more realistic/blurred to fit the scene better. Framing and position is good.

Picture 2 - Really like this photo except she's on the left third of the frame and looking out of the frame. Might have been better on the right third looking into the frame.

Picture 3 - To much empty space above the head, hands are cut off and the legs are as well.

Picture 4 - Pretty image, move subject to the left third of the frame.

Picture 5 - Well done.

Hope this helps and gives you things to think about. None are bad shots, but a little better framing could help them be even better.

That went through my head when I saw the image, but, I loved the image straight away. Had she been looking into the frame, the image would have lost the feel that drew me to the image in the first place. If she were positioned on the other side of the frame, looking into the frame, what would she have been looking at? The way she is positioned in the frame, looking out, makes you wonder who is there. It is a great image as is, and I know you were not saying it is bad. I think it is best the way it was captured. Rule are great to know and understand, there are reasons for them. After knowing them, it is good to know how to break them effectively, and in this case, that was done very well.

Phil
