Our last holiday in France was 2003, we moved over there in 2004! was to Finistere. On the way back we drove across to Mt St Michel, complete with our caravan in tow. It was only when we got to the car park at the far end we saw the one and only sign that said no caravans! The car park officials were horrified when I 'threw-a-uuey' and did a 3 point turn with the van on the back. I think that they thought that I wasn't going to be able to do it, but how wrong they were. It would have served them right if I had screwed it up. The prats should have had a sign BEFORE you get on the road!

They would have wet themselves if they saw where I parked the van at home. SWMBO did each time, but it never finished up over the 8' drop in the field 8-)

We never did get to look at the place.

You will notice that the French are really hot on health & safety

On the menu for those bridges was duck or grouse

Believe it or not there is a very low concrete bridge under that lot.

At the best of times it's only about a foot above the river level! After rain in the Pyrenees :eek:

I've got heavy rain falling on the roof right now, and lots of thunder. I can tell you my dogs don't think it's their weather. They are so scared of the thunder they're right under my feet!
