I am looking for a decent bag that will hold a gripped R6 with a lens attached(135L would be the biggest I would want, everything is smaller attached), 70-200mm F4, and either my 24mm F1.4 or 35mm F2. I havent seen much for people running gripped mirrorless cameras so I figured I would ask. Holding a 13" notebook is a bonus as well but not a must. I did some quick looking and am not worried about brand as long as it is a good quality bag. I checked with Think Tank as I have love the feel of their stuff. I looking at a Vision 13 or a Retrospective 10 V2. But I wanted to ask since I am not sure if it will work fully with the size.

Tenba makes a good messenger bag-The DNA 13 Messenger Bag, I use it for my gripped 5DM4 and 3 lenses (70-200, 24-70, 15-30), also has room for a 13 inch notebook
I also use the TT Streetwalker Pro V2

If anyone wondered, I ended up with a ThinkTank Retrospective 30. I got the chance to check out a friends 13" bag(he has a mindshift but they are all around the same size). I sat down and thought about what I wanted/needed out of my bag. I got the chance to see, I could fit a gripped R6 since it is rather small into the mindshift he had, but it would be tight when I added my notebook, camera and normal lens kit. My only real problem I have had with the speed demon besides the fact that I couldnt fit the body in was that stuff just barley fit. I love the concept of the bag and used it a lot of that reason, but I had to tetris stuff in, hoods had to overlap to fit in correctly and that is what I was finding in the bag he had. I went with the biggest only because anymore I would rather have a bit bigger a bag for flexibility in the long run.

The bag though for others looking fits well, it is rather big and easily fits the body with my 70-200mm F4L IS attached, it is a bit short but what I have been doing is leaving it unzipped and just throw the cover over it. I did check and it can fit my 7D mk II with a grip as well but it is a bit tighter, only thing I wish was that it was a bit looser fitting, it is rather stiff and holds its shape and doesnt conform to your body well, being as big as it is without a notebook it would be nice.

ThinkTank Retrospective 20 allows me to put a Gripped 5D Mark III with a 70-200 f/2.8 L IS Mark II attached With room for two additional lenses . The Retrospective 30 is too short to put camera In vertical position attached.

Yeah, I can put it in there to carry around but I am just laying the flap over it, I cant really zip it up or what not. The 30 is just the 10 with an extra slot horizontally, the 20 is the 10 just deeper to fit the 70-200 on the body. I almost went the 20 but I find I dont shoot as much with my 70-200mm anymore, and when I do I can swap lenses to properly store the camera in the bag.

Coming to this very late, but I loved my first Retrospective bag (a 30 as well) so much I bought three more :) I have a 5, 20 and 40 now (I sold the 30 because it was boring black, the ones I have now are either blue or green. Silly i know :) )

Great shoulder bags! Just love them.

The 20 is one of the tallest shoulder bags available, I can mount a 150-600mm and close the top flap.. (barely!)

I have gotten the chance to take this bag out and love it. One thing I love about more modern/high end bags is options. I run it a lot without the velcro on the front(just using the covers to it includes) so I can easily get into the bag. I also love the size, it is a bit big but being able to fit lenses with hoods is super helpful. The speed demon I could fit my lenses in but the hoods made it a really tight fit. Room to work is extremely helpful and makes it feel like I dont have to play tetris to get the lenses in. The only negative I have found so far really is the strap, mostly at the point it meets the bag. It tends to bunch up for me when I put it cross body so it starts to squeak and is stiff to move due to it bunching up. I think it is more on me though, I need to get the length right to rest the bag a bit higher up so it hangs at hip level instead of slightly below where it is now.

would love to see a new “50”. The width of the 30 and the height of the 20. Unfortunately they discontinued the older 50 and 40 which I have and use for Travel as it allows me to store my 70-200 attached facing down with more storage than the 20.

I've owned the 20, 30, 40, and 50.. and a 5..

I got the 30 first at a local camera shop, and I loved it, but it was black, ( and I hated that) but otherwise it was the best bag I had owned.

then when they came out with the VII models, I scooped up a 20 and 50 in the denim blue, and the 40 and 5 in pinestone at close out prices that were so good all 4 cost about what a new 40 cost.

I immediately sold the 30, and then sold the 50 unused with tags, I just preferred the 40 to the 50 and didn't need both.

I now use the 20, 40 and 5 as my constant companions.

The little 5 just fits my little Fuji kit, with two lenses and the little flash.

The 20 has been my APS-C 7D2 and long zoom lens bag, with all the extras I could need.

The 40 is my gig bag, for one or two DSLR (5D4 and ...) and lenses and kit for event shooting.

One thing I miss about the original 30 was the smaller dual pockets vs. the one big one.
