We visited Penguin Island and here are the birds I managed to get shots of. It was hard to get some shots with strong backlighting and others where shot from a boat

This poor little guy had fallen down the rocks and fell again after I took the photo. I went and got the penguin keeper who rescued him

Yanchep National Park today, large flock of Carnaby Cockatoos, I would estimate about 1000.

all through summer we had a male Superb Fairy Wren constantly dancing along the window sill and up the side of the window.
I'm sure these are the same bird.
The one from today is definitely male and I can only surmise its the same as it is doing exactly same as the highly coloured one
