I hope those aren't in the lily family...a lot of the plants in the family are extremely toxic to cats!

They look like some variety of calla lily. You're right, calla lilies are poisonous to cats.

Thanks for the warning. photo with flowers does not mean the cat has access to them.

If that's not Photoshopped it can be enough to poison a cat(acute kidney-failure). Even a bit of pollen can be enough(sniffing/licking).
All Lilium and Hemerocallis species are nephrotoxic for cats.

edit: the Calla Lily, while also toxic, is a lot less dangerous,.

Please be very careful... sometimes a sniff or rub on certain household plants can be enough to cause long-lasting damage. Even the pollen or liquids can present a danger simply by brushing against it with our clothing or shoe and the cat having access to those items! Also, sometimes, it doesn't manifest immediately, but can cause problems later in their life.

For that specific reason, I simply don't allow certain plant types in the house and watch what I handle/brush against due to my cats.

It's just a shame the portrait setting on the iPhone tends to think whiskers are part of the background, other than that it doesn't dp a bad job of simulating bokeh !
