I remember your posts, I think, when he was in junior college or whatever it was before Arkansas (?). Good luck to him and you in the "bigs".

I played around at the McNeese game with my Canon R6 using the wifi feature to send selected photos to my phone, quick editing them, and sending them on to the McNeese SID. Tonight, I decided to play around with the latest Lightroom App on my Samsung Galaxy S20 to try to learn it a little. Here is a photo from the game on my phone that I decided to play with. You can even place watermarks with the app.

Note: I was using a Canon 70-200mm f/2.8 II + 1.4 extender III so that is why it is 280mm in the metadata.

Finally! Nice weather & baseball. My first BB game in 10 months. That's what made me search for this thread. First shot shows a sharply hit ball getting by the 3rd baseman as the shortstop tracks it & the second shot is the ss getting it.

Caught stealing 2nd. Big crop, got lazy & left the 400mm at home because I knew I had so much light I could crop the heck out of the 70-200mm.

Yep, Hill College in lovely Hillsboro Texas. I'm glad the hair experiments seem to be over! Getting an opportunity to play in the MLB has been his dream since he started playing, however it's the end of getting decent photos for me...

Your post made me go over and look up the box scores for the Indians. Looks like he made his debut! Congrats to both of you!

He's blessed to have the opportunity - my Job was to put gas in the car, and he did all the driving. Photography was a way to give back to the other players and parents while keeping me busy enough to not let me say or do something stupid.
