Your native finches are very attractive birds which we don't get here.

Went out for a walk couple of days ago around the Darwin Waterfront and heard this hissing to the side of me and found this guy eyeing me off . Bird is a Bush Stone curlew

Love those Bush stone curlews.

I would say arguing.
Cockatoos can get very irate at anything that threatens their territory.

Unless there is food involved.
