Apr 02, 2021 23:03 | #4746 Does anyone else find this reminiscent of Sam the Hawk from The Muppet Show? Sorry to interrupt the thread, but the show's in its entirety on Disney+, and my wife and I always loved the show. ![]() ...Back to your regularly-scheduled program... I honestly DO like the juxtaposition of the antique machinery against the timeless night sky, while I'd prefer a bit less light on the Earthly objects in order to attract the viewer to the well-captured night sky. Just my opinion, and probably a minority one. ![]() I do agree with your statement the last one especially as the ground is very bright and I probably will do a edit on it Stand for something or fall for every thing

He is a night scape artist also based in Australia. Many of your scenes look similar to his. You should look him up, you'd probably find you have a lot in common. Paul

Personally I’d like to see the sky cooler and the light that is lighting your subjects warmer. I use a F+V z96 video light to illuminate night objects as it has an orange filter on it. That then means that when i shoot the Milky Way at a temp of 3700-4200 the subject looks correct and the milky way is a good temp and looks blue and not orange. Leica M11 | Leica Q2 | Sony α7RV

Take what I say with a pinch of salt though as I’m no expert and only do this on occasion. If you google f+v z96 Milky Way light painting you will find some info about it though
