I applied the Super Resolution on it to turn it into a 48 MP image. I'm not generally a fan of sky replacements, but they do have usefulness. In this image the sky was mostly blown out. The Luminar AI sky replacement, though, is only at 50% opacity against the original sky. I wanted the replacement sky to look like it fits the image without creating a distraction. ![]() It looks like Luminar AI did a good job even between the tree branches. Gene - My Photo Gallery ||

My favorite lens of all time is the Zeiss Otus 55mm 1.4 ZE and the sample GM images are reminiscent of the Otus. So, I’m trying to decide how to come up with $2000. Buying a used a9 II instead of the a1 (which I’ve budgeted) frees up the $$. I know that 50mm isn’t as popular as 35mm here (I already own an amazing 35mm bokeh master!), but when I had my Otus 55mm I used that lens more than any other. Of all the photo genres my favorite is capturing urban life and 50mm is a fantastic FL for that imo. Zeiss Otus 55mm 1.4: ![]() I used to love the 50mm FL...it was my go to for all sorts of things. Maybe one day...right now I am getting geared up for a big video shoot I just got hired to do...glad I have not unloaded my 35ZA yet. Website

TRhoads Cream of the Crop More info | Apr 03, 2021 21:42 | #47272 So I got back today from what amounted to a 1.25 day trip to Charleston to check out Magnolia Plantation and Gardens while it was at the absolute peak of the azalea bloom. I thought I nailed this one...except for that lens flare. The two GM lenses seem to be much more prone to flare, and the sun wasn't even visible in this scene. The 16-35 seems to be in its sweet spot at f/11, there is noticeably better sharpness there...the Batis 18 was always home at f/8-9. Anyway, I spent so much of my time focusing on this row of trees, both in the morning and two afternoons. The colors on the blooms were so bright and vibrant. Perfect timing. I tried Luminar out a couple years back and really disliked it. Now it’s got some nice usableness and, best of all, works as a plugin for Photoshop. That lets me integrate Luminar AI into my workflow alongside other great plugins like Nik Color Efex and Topaz AI. David | Flickr
