Yes the Cuckoo Shrike is a very nice bird and beautifully marked too. Doesn't really show in my shot.
I just couldn't get close enough. It kept flying off just as I thought I was getting closer :-(

There were Northern mockingbirds galore at Sunnyslope Park in Pasadena Monday morning.... this one landed close enough for me to take a good photo.
