They're actually really capable these days, however, they are not mechanical anymore and are instead all electronic. Air suspension, electronic traction controls and things like that all work great....until they stop working. Then the vehicles are useless. I really dig the old ones though. I'd love to have one, but I hate working on cars.. So I drive a Toyota. :p

1927 Ford. The owner said that it had the original engine in it.

Is it the owner or the truck that's disabled? :-P

Back when that was made, parking was different!
Really fine example of an oldie.
Canopy looks like it came off a wagon, not a truck

Would guess that he had it made for the truck.

The brothers who own the car lot have given me free access to their lot anytime I'd like. They have an affinity for Cadillacs & have many on the lot. I wanted to show them what 645 slide film looked like compared to regular film negs, so I showed them a roll that happened to have the Cadillac from my earlier post. Ray got excited & called his brother over to see the shot, they then asked where it was when I took the photo. I told them & they wrote it down. They are very interested in purchasing it, apparently it was the one & only year that DIDN"T have the skirts over the rear wheels. I am not a "car guy" but love how they photograph.

This Woody station wagon is beautiful. They apparently chased this car over the US over the last 20 years, being outbid 3 times. Last year it came up again for sale so they drove to New Hampshire to pick it up. It was parked in a garage & I had 100 ISO loaded so didn't get many shots. I'll get a chance to photograph it later. They had asked some Amish wood workers to help them with the restoration.
