Leaving it in the surf overnight and then dragging it onto shore caused unnecessary damage. .

The air/sea rescue chopper was there for a 'show the public' day and got called out to rescue some clown who decided to try to climb the cliff face about 200 yards behind where it was parked! I rather suspect the rescue was staged, far too convenient to just be down to a clown. Similar displays I've been to have always involved a recovery, but with no cliffs handy it's had to be done from open water. Mike
