Went to Windansea Beach with the intention to shoot some drone videos yesterday. But it was a bit too windy and there were two other larger drones tracking the surfers. So I pulled out the DSLR and grabbed a few shots.

Santa Cruz (Steamers) on Sunday May 2

Went over to Santa Cruz since Surfliine was reporting a good pulse of south energy. Steamers is a great place for south to west waves and the weather cooperated (no fog). I typically shoot from the cliff into the middle break which is anywhere from couple hundred yards to 1/4 mile out. Since I really do not like cold water, I was shooting with a Sigma 150-600 all day (mostly at 600) from the cliff. Enjoyed shooting and talking with people getting in and out of the water. Here are some that I liked:

North Shore is flat right now...south shore is where its at at the moment. I'm waiting till it gets a little bigger or at least 6 to 8 feet is when I make my move to go and shoot. Enjoy your stay....Aloha!!
