Very difficult shooting conditions but, wow, what a place. This is Longhorn Cavern in Texas, another amazing CCC project.

A week ago, I decided to stop at Horsethief Lake State Park and check out the petroglyphs. I have never stopped and looked at them before. It's a pretty interesting little walk. The walk is about 50 yards and you can see at least a dozen different petroglyphs.

Go ahead, spin the wheel.

Technical: OST (open shutter technique) used. Self portrait. Exposure time was approximately 48 seconds. Light for arm was a 40 inch reflective umbrella, camera right, while the light for the homeless woman was a 40 inch reflective umbrella above and camera right.

Put my 18-55 and 23 f2 on consignment today. After getting the 16-80 and having the 16 1.4 I just don't see a reason to keep them. Inventories at my local brick and mortar store are REALLY low with ALL brands. Now is a good time to shed the dead weight.

I'm letting the X-Pro2 go as well after getting the 2nd X-t3. Been eyeing a 100V but I fondled one today and am not really sure if I'd use it much. $1,400 is a LOT of coin for that camera.

I saw this in the window of a restaurant in London. I'm assuming that it was for decoration, and not a menu item. It was stuffed, in any case. Or rather, not in a case. And no longer doing stuff.

Technical: High key OST. Fuji X-T2 w/ Fuji 18mm f/2 @ f/2. Lighting this one was a little tricky. For the left character, I used a 580exII flash with a barn door (to keep light from hitting the wall) and a bare 580exII camera left as a hair light. The character on the right was lit with a single 580exII/barn door combination camera left with the barn door again preventing light from hitting the wall. (wherever light hits the wall, it can erase some or all of the characters... ;) )
