That is, indeed, young wheat. I call the series 'Wheat Dunes'. I made a thread with a bunch of Palouse pictures and info on the area.
Those harvester tracks, or whatever those tracks are, were a little bonus surprise when I got these in Lightroom. I think the picture would have worked without them, but it never occurred to me to "fix" them.
I'm taking full credit though. Subconsciously, I had to know they were there in the instant. Right? Reptilian mind.
