Thank you muchly, havelock! I truly appreciate the kind compliment. My cameral is always set for birds in flight because I never have enough time to quickly change my settings. Since the majority of my bird shots are darker colored...that's were my setting are. If an egret appears, all I do is roll my thumb and drop the ISO a stop or two. By doing this, I'm pretty much ready for whatever comes my way. Of course I'm speaking in theory, because I screw-up quite often. :-)
