Very pretty, sharp, image, Ken!

Thanks, Mike. We've got leaves now:lol:. They add a lot to the image, but make the bird harder to get.

This male Cape May Warbler visits the fir tree in my backyard for a few days each Spring; as I type this post this morning, he's singing right outside my window :) Wish he'd stick around for the summer. The tree is an insanely difficult shooting obstacle though, it's very challenging to get a clear unobstructed shot, and the dynamic range presented is enormous, making it tricky to get a balanced exposure that isn't super noisy (ISO 6400 on this first one!).

Nice shots, Matthew. I mentioned to someone else in your neck of the woods that it didn't take them long to travel from Texas.

This is on my backyard water feature and gives a glimpse of things to come. Coral honeysuckle will replace the artificial greenery soon. I look forward to many photos at the water. My pump at the feature.

Nice shots considering the conditions. Tough to get any kind of unobstructed view, much less one with the lighting at a good angle. But Capr Mays are regular visitors to your yard, so I can't work up too much sympathy:lol:.

Terrific capture, Steve! I'll bet this guy thinks he's perfectly invisible.

You are correct, Mike! It didn't twitch a muscle, no doubt figuring it was totally imperceptible.

Thanks, too, for your comments on the Red-eyed Vireo. I agree: it's really striking when sunlight hits the eye and it flashes red.
