Thanks Mike, these are quite striking creatures. Although technically wild, these EWDs live at the gardens and are quite used to people, making it easy to take their photo.

These particular inner-city EWDs are much larger than their country cousins who have to forage for food in the wild, rather than get handouts from visitors, despite the plethora of "DO NOT FEED THE WILDLIFE" signs.:-(
