That angle certainly makes an amusing image. It’s interesting how their color is so dependent on the angle of the light. This one could pass for a Brown-headed Cowbird except for the eyes.

Nice work as always, Tom. What always catches my eye with your birds on Chollas is how they hold the spines to perch.
