That angle certainly makes an amusing image. It’s interesting how their color is so dependent on the angle of the light. This one could pass for a Brown-headed Cowbird except for the eyes.

His angry appearance is obviously due to the angle at which I caught him. And I totally agree with you about the color being dependent on the angle of the light.
