I rented the RF 70-200 f/2.8 over the weekend so I could have a lens that was a bit brighter than my 100-500 for some sunrise pictures of a mountain lion. I really hate how much I liked that lens. So much lighter then my Tamron 70-200 G2, and the AF is FAST.

These were taken right before or right after sunrise at around 5:30 am.

I'd take that lens over the RF 100-500 in a heartbeat if I could get that close to my wildlife subjects with it. I'm assuming the mountain lion was in an enclosure? Beautiful outcomes.
