I tried to get a shot of the Blue Angels over the Lexington about the same time, but it came out hazy from where I was. Great image!

Went back and looked closely at some of my posted photos RAW files. YUP ... sensor dust spots I didn't notice with earlier jpg only shots.
Thanks for the sensor cleaning recommendation. :-)

Not quite an airshow as such but I flew up to East Kirkby in Lincolnshire UK yesterday, home of the Avro Lancaster 'Just Jane' which is under going restoration to a flying condition. It frequently does taxi runs with fare paying customers to raise funds towards the restoration. Here it is pictured with their Mosquito which also does taxi rides. A great day out!
