Only an iPhone shot but this is what greeted me on my first visit to our boat since lockdown.

She very much needs a good clean, decided against doing it till next time;-)a

Those pictures look like a while ago now! I don’t think that’s Ilfracombe’s normal lifeboat. That’s a relief Rother Class lifeboat the ‘Horace Clarkson’. It used to be on Anglesey but when it retired from there in 1987 it became a relief boat until 1993 when it was sold. The last I heard it was living out it’s retirement at Wells-next-the-Sea. Ilfracombe had the same Oakley class lifeboat ‘Lloyds II’ from 1966 until 1990. It would be interesting to know what year the pictures were taken.

My daughter looks to be about 8 there? She has just turned 42 :eek: So that puts it about errrrrrrr -?

She was stationed at Moelfre ( Anglesey as you mentioned)
