Vermilion Flycatcher, from my recent trip to the Arizona / Sonora border area. . I couldn't believe how many of these Vermilion Flycatchers there were in Arizona. . The state is loaded with them. . Funny to discover that a species that I always thought of as "special" is so common. . But despite their over-abundance, I still thought they were cool looking.

I actually had to reduce the saturation of the blue sky and the red bird a little bit, because the real, so-called "SOOC" colors were so vivid that they didn't look real.

really lovely bird and common doesn't always equate to boring, but can lead to lack of appreciation.
Not sure one could ever tire of seeing these

well that was strange. I got Ohlooks response where the post said it was showing 'here' for my viewing but it wasn't actually showing plus your post appeared as a duplicate, no doesn't

It has been acting weird that way. I just cleared cookies to see if it would help.

This one has been non-stop bringing an amazing buffet of bugs to a fast-growing brood. The nest was built under some old decking in my yard. One or two nests, sometime as many as three successive tenants, every year.
