Black fox - are you Jeff? :-)

You're certainly posting some great images, which again refutes what I was told years ago about upgrading cameras :-)

pretty sure this was mentioned a while ago.

I did get a tax rebate, not enough for a M3 though :-)

Was it you who talked about the Oly 12 - 100 f/2.8, or is it f/4. If different lenses do you know cost/benefits?

Thanks

The mkiii I bought in temper as the mkii was taking forever to get to the repair centre and back , it’s basically the same sensor but there is a superior processor in it and a lot of bells and whistles such as starry skies/ live ND filters / and hand held HD mode … on the down side it’s taken me a few weeks to gel with it yesterday was the best day with it so far .. plus if there are any firmware updates coming it’s more likely for this one than the mkii
And no not me with those lenses

Rose the Oly 12-100 is f4, no 2.8
It gets excellent reviews
It also has image stabilising if that's what you need!
It's ALSO not cheap now.

I've the 12-40mm and 40-150. Both 2.8
If I had to chose again, I'd seriously consider the 12-100. It is more bulky though.

Ah yes - thanks I remember now.
I do have a tax rebate, would cover about 1/3 of cost in NZ, but I wonder at the benefits for a landscape lens ....
Yes reviews are amazing.

If I did get the 12 -100 I could sell the 12 -40 which has hardly been off the camera.

Tasmanian Native Hens
I was playing with custom settings!
Didn't pay enough attention to them! ISO through the roof!
I'll just stick to my old ways
