Tailor-made for B&W. PL4: NR and lens corrections, perspective and volume deformation corrections and crop => the brand new Silver Efex 3 in Nik Collection v4: adjusted selective tone, contrast and structure, amplify blacks and vignette.

Since I'm not in the running for the win, I'll toss this in as food for imagination. I did this version years ago.

My goal was to bring out the statue's details and the blue/green patina of the old bronze. I wanted to enhance the dull sky but I'm not a big advocate of sky replacements because they are often overly dramatic and distracting. Instead I extracted more detail from the existing sky and played with colors and textures. Finally I added an orton type effect to soften the image. Done in PhotoLab 4 Elite.

I did something similar to Nigel using the change-the-weather tool (Luminar AI) - but his is better than mine!

Your trees are better than mine Martin - the sky replacement filter needs some more tweaking from me I think.

I'm still searching for inspiration!

I realize this represents a rather de minimis use of the original but ...

(Aurora on both the rider and the background separately; selected out the rider in 3D Paint, placed in background and blended in PaintShop Pro + adjustments.)

Just a reminder/clarification that I posted an image for this round at Mozes' request, but he is still the judge.

Wel peano, i think i go for this one from you.
I like the mist, its give a feeling of a war, somewhere in a field.
the idea off the sun, gives it some more dimension.
