The backyard is full of birds still. At times I can make out at least 10 different calls, and in a 30 minute span can photograph 8 or 10 of them.

This one, Red Bellied Woodpecker, my favorite one of them all, we call Dave. He is very shy at first, but once he remembers me, he comes around and poses a lot.

That one looks confused, like it wants to be a Plover, Sandpiper and Surfbird all at the same time :D Very pretty capture!

Cheeky, stroppy little perishers, but about our favourite.

Lovely shot Mark ;-)a

Thanks, yeah, he is quite colorful right now. He has a lady friend that lives here too, but she is incredibly shy and I have never had her come anywhere close enough to get a photo.

Excellent portrait shot of this drake mallard, fotoi! I'll bet he bites his tongue every once in awhile.

These are both beautiful captures! I especially like the first one.

Excellent, sharp close-up shot, Paul! I've never seen one eat a butterfly before. Hardly any calories in that snack.
