Me too, I want to go back. I'm not much of a vacation guy but I had a good time. I only wish I could have gotten better photos of whales.

Don't bother going to Hawaii for whales. The best whale watching anywhere is in Monterey Bay......June-October is fabulous.

Is that what is going on over here? This was in Monterey Bay. I couldn't tell if it was whales, sea lions, or something else.

....it's a significantly longer hike to Ka'ena Point from the Makaha side and i did it on a very very hot day - pack your water wisely for a round trip


approaching the point from the other side is like a dream - park your car and walk a short distance

either way, you will enjoy the beauty of Oahu
