Very nice, Jimmy! I've only got one in my life.

Thanks, Mike
The record heat is driving everything to water.
At one point we had 3 at the same time.
Not sure if any shots are post-worthy yet.

I've been looking for an occasion like this to have a minimal chance at flexing my a6600 muscle with for a bit now, and so of course now that I finally have a good one it's my a7 III with my shortest zoom (Tamron 28-75) that I have with me... Looking forward to my usual spots being accessible once more, though in the meantime I might try this one again tonight.

This rather stunned looking baby blue tit had just flown into my closed bedroom window and dropped to the ground. Eventually revived by some water and rest I was pleased to see it fly away again!

I love that photo Mark and I'm so glad that the little thing recovered OK. I lost count how many times I had to pick up birds that had flown in to out VERY big patio windows when we lived in France. Mosy of them lived, some not unfortunately, but it always gave me a huge lift when they flew off.

This little siskin decided it liked my fleece and walked out of my cupped hands and settled on my arm in complete peace.

It then migrated a little higher and I had the pleasure of its company for about 20 or so minutes

The one time that I did regret picking up a bird that flew in to one of our windows when kestrel did just that.

I was watching this Great Grey Owl hunt in a meadow, flying from several different perches when it landed on this fence post 15’ in front of me.

It was an unforgettable moment, and it actually took me a few seconds to compose myself enough to take some shots lol

Vassilis, this is a superb picture again.
Something completely amazing.
I just wonder how much time you spend photographing these beauties.
(Sounds just like i'm a bit jealous.)

The top eagle had just delivered a fish to the nest for the chicks and then flew over and landed above his mate. Almost like he's telling her "hey it's your turn now".
