Yes Levina 1/400''. There is no chance when they are flapping their wings or changing direction, but you can when they glide for a couple of seconds

Stunning photos. We get the Rainbow bee eaters here in Summer, but they don't nest in big colonies. We have to go hunting to find a single pair. Sometimes, if you're really lucky, you will find two pairs in reasonably close proximity, but nothing like your 200-300. You're very lucky to have so many to take photos of. Beautiful shots.
