Five shot HDR but it was getting dark and I've obviously moved the camera. However I like the effect :-)

The seond one is especially nice, very painterly. Love it!

Kind regards, Wim

Thanks - I am pleased with it even though technically it's a fail :-)

Next time look for a button or instruction, it will be something like align, the software then lines everything up and trims to size if needed. How ever if you are doing it in camera, I am obviously, of no help there.

just spent a hour or so with my flock of friendly gulls down the estuary .. fine tuning the 1-mk3 to my liking .. there were a couple of things that have been annoying to me and the way I work . i.e I switched on highlight and lowlight alerts some may like it but I found it annoying , also my EVF while fine in sunlight has been quite dim on cloudy days . both now adjusted to my liking .. this is the problem with following u.tube settings videos your also inputting what other people like rather than what suits you .. I have to admit I have found this camera to be harder to get right than the mk2 but its now falling into place nicely and got some good shots on a dull grey day (sea mist ) will post a couple of shots later after p.p only gulls but perfect targets for adjusting settings ... with the help of some Aldi sliced bread ߘ. heres a couple from the session today .practice makes perfect

avocets in flight yesterday , my alterations to the camera settings seem to be working well so I'll leave it for now . these birds are super fast and dont fly a straight course so hard to get . plus we are having a mini-heatwave at the moment so heat haze is a problem over any sort of distance

I hadn't realised the golden spiral applied to the rings on a slice of a log as well ... I know it is prolific in nature, so perhaps ought to have expected it.

Years ago, my nephew had a home assignment on it, and my father and I drew it - out if interest. Before the Internet, but researched in Encyclopaedia Britannica.
