these Plovers live at an intersection just up the road from me.
They hog the road, love sitting in the traffic island and are completely at ease with traffic
Today I pulled up on the side road and there were about a dozen of them and then the orchestra started.
No idea what it was all about but with no traffic in sight I just sat and enjoyed their antics

I can't straighten the pic with the strawberry plants but to make up for that you can see the missed dragonfly upside down between the plants :-)
