Was out last weekend looking for Kingfishers and pulled car over to get out and nearly stood on this little freshwater croc sunning himself on side of rd ! This is second time now Ive nearly stepped on one of these guys getting out of vehicle to get a shot of something else and not realising what was close by on ground . They blend in super well with color of the track as can see in the image I got . Would have been less than a 2 meters from my front tire which is too damn close for my liking :)
