Every week we select a new theme, and then go out and shoot that theme. This week the theme is Show Us Your Hobbies. As always be as imaginative/creative as you like when interpreting the theme, creativity is what we're looking for.

Show us your Hobbies... and you guessed it, not photography!

Here are the rules:
1. Shots need to be taken between Tuesday, after the new theme is posted and the following Monday by sunset (Whenever that is for you). Because this activity is supposed to encourage us to get out and shoot, please don't post old shots from your archives. Snapshots and art are equally welcome -- just get out & shoot, and then share!
2. Post your shots at any time during the week.
3. Post a maximum of two shots if you're uploading them to POTN (i.e., attaching them). You can post more than two if you're linking to shots that are not hosted by POTN (i.e. embedding them) but keep within POTN rules. Also keep within POTN rules about size. A copy of the size rules can be found here: IMAGE POSTING RULES
That's it! Have fun! As always be as imaginative/creative as you like when interpreting the theme, creativity is what we're looking for.
An index to previous weeks can be found here: POTN WORLDWIDE PHOTO WEEK INDEX

That's it!
Have fun!

Radios have been my hobby since I was barely a teenager and I still use Morse code at times to "talk" to friends.

I did not have any problems with my file, but it was only about 225kb.

I love collecting watches lolz (entry level ... not up to "Rolex level")
My uncle used to mock me: you got only 2 hands, why did you buy so many watches lolz

My other hobby is flying remote controlled airplanes. These are a few that I've built and flown. The top two were built from kits. The bottom two were scratched built.

Thank you Joayne, I hope to be rid of the orthosis in a day or two.

I meant to include Watership Down, but don't know where the book has got to. I tried to work out all the plant names in there; quite difficult even with a dictionary & Wikipedia / latin names.

Kate W., a friend of mine &artist, published this video: Wind in the Willows (external link) :-)

You might enjoy this: Says You! (external link). You may not be able to get the radio version in Europe, but the website offers the program, too.

Kind of a 3 in 1 photo trying to show what I spend my time doing before photography. I enjoy shooting, especially with archery tackle whether it be target for practice,3D, or hunting. Most of my time is spent on private land that I own and manage for wildlife by growing native grasses, doing prescribed burns on both grass and timber land to provide food and cover for as many native species as possible. White Tailed deer, the Eastern Wild Turkey, all birds and insects benefit the most. The grass in the back ground is Eastern Gamma grass, the ice cream of the grasses, one that fed the huge Bison and Elk herds of years passed. The antlers in the foreground are sheds that were cast from a deer that has my attention, he will likely be a 165 to 170 B&C deer this fall if all goes well for him.
In 2020 I devoted about 50 days to this hobby, 37 of those were carrying the bow, this fall I'm hoping to spend at least a month hunting and will probably take my camera as well. I'm considering leaving my camera and long lens on the property in a blind as I can't carry everything at once. I usually go in at day break and return after dark so carrying gear is a job if archery gear and photography are combined.

On the hunting forum that I go into, the word is: "pictures or it didn't happen".

Thanks Oh,I'll see if I can make time for that.

There was a weekly etymology blog (external link) I liked, but it petered out in 2014/2015 - The old posts are still online.
