Two things can happen there, Moose, small game and Maine Cranberry bogs, and possibly a third, our feather friends visit, a place to continually revisit.

New England is bitterly cold brrr in the winter and plenty of snow

Ahh, frost on the limbs. I've seen that when fog (humidity) or rain at elevation and below 32.

Stellar capture !!

Hi all, sorry for lack of engagement! Its been a busy month or so. Lots of family birthdays in June, plus two short holidays and just finished a kitchen make over. Have still been taking plenty of pics, but mostly of family and friends etc.

I'll share a short selection, the first from a fire during a camping weekend (it was glamping really!). The next few from our trip to the Mendips, which we've never really explored before but both really loved. Check out the scenery shot of the leaning tree, it wasn't until I processed it that I realised a buzzard had flown into the shot perfectly positioned in the frame! :-) Then one from my boys birthday, he got a goal net from Uncle! And then one from today at a day trip to Durham Park.

My birthday was in June and I'm chuffed to say I got the 24-105 and have sold the Tamron 28-75. Really chuffed with it. I'd forgotten what its like to have that zoom range. After getting used to the Tamron for a while, I was really quite surprised when I tried the 24-105! Also, I assumed it was basically the same as the 16-35 F2.8 in size, which is mostly is, but it just feels a bit nicer in the hand, I think its noticeably better balanced than the 16-35, presumably because the smaller filter size. 8-)

Small but mighty. Really surprised at the abundance of wild butterflies on my hike today, counted at least 7 different species on my walk.

Jose, which lens did you use for this shot and the previous one? Beautiful 3D pop, sharpness and color.

It's the Sigma 105 Art Macro, best macro lens I've ever used, really happy with it.
