The Vossloh G2000 BB is a unique locomotive with a hydraulic transmission as opposed to a diesel-electric design. With 3,000 hp it was the most powerful of that type of locomotive when it was introduced in 2000.

Thanks.
JOOC, how punctual are they? Within 15-20 minutes of the listed times, or closer to Amtrak?

When they came through two years ago, pretty much on time. Since they are using fairly busy freight lines I’d say they have to be fairly punctual.

The only Amtrak train I’m familiar with is the Heartland Flyer, runs from OKC to Ft Worth and back everyday. It’s pretty much on time, again due to using a major freight line track.
