Identical twins,;-)a...wonderful shot, Rob!

Absolutely wonderful, Richard! Beautifully composed.

Really Nice, Rob! I surely do see why you like the 400 mm, f/2.8.

Excellent hen mallard close-up, fotoi! So sharp and life-like.

Thank you, Mike.

Thanks very much Mike! I’m really enjoying my photography since the lockdown forced me into photographing the birds. Aeroplanes seem to have taken second place now!

Beautiful shot Rich. I think that’s a female Bushtit based on the yellow iris. If anything they’re harder to capture than Gnatcatchers, so nice job.

Absolutely wonderful, Richard! Beautifully composed.

Many thanks Mike for your kind comments.
Glad you're enjoying them.
I was outside yesterday with no camera when the wrens came from everywhere and I just stood and feasted on their beauty.
They were about 6 feet from me :-)

Different to the magnificent raptors you've bought us in past

Great shot Rob. Did you consider Louisiana Waterthrush as a possibility? I believe both occur in your area. They're hard to tell apart, and I'm far from certain, but the streaking on yours seems to be a bit sparse and the throat is completely white.
