Male Superb Fairy Wren.
I'll post some more another time. The boys are colouring up and some are becoming quite spotty on their way to full colour

this one has a smidgeon of colour on its wings but others have quite spotty faces and look a bit dishevelled

This is a superb image of a superb bird, Richard! Love these wrens!

This is one of the best green heron shots, I've seen before, Steve! The shot is very sharp and lifelike in appearance. Plus the low camera angle adds so much to the overall appeal.

Nice family portrait Mike.
The water adds to the attraction.
Interesting colours and good to see the mated couple. I'd wondered if leucitic birds would mate. Answers that query.
Life on the water is tough! Little one looks a bit forlon :-(
Hope the little tacker doesn't fall foul too.

Thank you very much, Richard. The leucitic Canada geese do at times, supposedly mate with one another, but generally, they'll mate with a regular colored Canada goose. Unfortunately the little guy did not survive. I'm pretty sure a predator got it. There are a number of them in the area.

Beautiful group shot of these geese, Mike.

Many thanks, fotoi. I appreciate the very nice compliment.

steveb108 wrote in post #19262552 (external link)
I've seen many leucistic birds but this is the first Canada I've seen. Good eye and very nice capture, Mike!

A sincere thanks for your very uplifting, and thoughtful compliment, Steve! Much appreciated.
