Yeah, that was never my intention...and I certainly didn't post any specific details. I have enough to deal with right now...I just have to hope he is OK, I appreciate his input and contributions here.

Cheers. Milky Way one are pretty much done now too. I almost went back last night under a 90% moon for North facing star trails but it's so hot here at the moment sleep isn't the easiest and I didn't fancy getting in at 3am and getting up at 6am for work!

We are just coming into a setting milky way season down here. Will be able to get the full arch again. right now, same problem, 2-3am and then up for work! Not had my camera out for ages.

So, is he doing well? And just taking a break?

We're heading into more vertical and after sunset but a little lower in the sky....

I think we've just got to take what we can!

I doubt Robert has spoken to Gene many times in the time since Gene's absence in the forum has been noticed.

That’s good news!

Thanks to everyone for their concern about my well being. I really appreciate it.

I've been in the hospital for the past 2 weeks after emergency surgery on my colon and had a section removed. I've also had kidney failure. After 2 weeks, the hospital Wi-Fi is finally working again too.

I'm still in the hospital but hope to be home soon.

Thanks again to everybody for thinking of me.
